Joab the Donkey and the Night the Star Stood Still

Joab the Donkey and the Night the Star Stood Still is the third book in the Donkey in the Bible Series. This whimsical tale begins with Jeremiah, a donkey colt, complaining to his mother about the hard work he has to do as a pack animal.  She lovingly tells him the story of his grandfather, Joab, who traveled a great distance with the three wise men, carrying the gifts that were given to the baby Jesus at the journey's end. The tale illustrates the great gift we offer in serving others, and how much more important our help to others may be than we realize at the time. Questions for discussion with children and fun facts are included.
