"Something ancient has awoken."

When marine biologist Duncan McKenzie returns to a remote Scottish island to continue his research, he expects solitude, stormy weather, and maybe a flirtation or two at the local pub. What he doesn't expect is horror rising from the depths of the sea.

After a group of archaeology students unearth something buried deep beneath the island's soil, strange happenings set the island's few inhabitants on edge, and old folk tales begin to feel more like warnings than bedtime stories.

As a strange mist rolls in and ancient horrors awaken from their slumber, Duncan and a small band of locals must confront what lurks in the shadow of the cliffs. But survival means facing not just the creatures of the deep, but the darkness within themselves.
