INSCRIPTIONS (PART 1)

Inscriptions was written to enable me to speak directly into your heart and soul. I am a lover of the mind and intellect but this time around I need you to feel me on an emotional level. In truth, I shouldn't say, "this time around" because I've been on this frequency for most of my life. From my perspective we are living in the times that our ancestors and prophets warned us about. We are still in the mists of Covid-19, police brutality, governmental fuckery, white supremacy, police terrorism, weekly mass shootings, January 6th hearings, sky high food prices, a poor economy, mass layoffs, nihilistic music and art, historic levels of crime, youth death and incarceration, domestic abuse, and a tragic and heartbreaking increase of suicide. Now I would be remiss, if I didn't say that there is a lot of great and amazing things happening as well. I am hearted by the acts of loving-kindness that I experience in my life. But my duty is to confront all the above negativity head on with my special brand of love, peace, patience, understanding, service, active activism, empathy, forgiveness, wisdom, faith, and more love.

I wrote Inscriptions as a personal testimony. This is how I see and feel about what the hell is going on today. Just like my previous 11 books of poetry, affirmations, and thoughts, I'm trying to raise the divine energy and consciousness up to its highest levels. I'm not claiming to have all the answers, but I'm not going to let that fact stop me from getting involved. God is at the center of everything that I do, and I pray he is happy with me and my efforts.
