Information Society

This introductory textbook explores not only the idea of the "Information Society" but its practices. In doing so it examines the full range of implication of information-based activity on individuals, organisations, economies and societies, exploring the changing dimensions of power. A particular emphasis is placed on the access to and uses of information in our various economies and societies.
