…In this Madness is a collection of poetry that explores the individual and their relationship with romantic love. It puts a spotlight on the commercially packaged idea of love and turns it on its head by presenting the heartache before the joy. The themes of love, heartbreak, mental health and healing, which are presented throughout the book, exemplify the effect this has on our inner light. When we are in moments of despair and pain, our light flickers, but when we have a strong sense of self and exude self-love, we illuminate the darkness.
