War and chance meeting set everything in motion...The lingering effects of the war never truly leave veterans' souls alone. The Hag of Vietnam is always there, under the surface, waiting for its chance to pounce. Emmett Peterson and Nathan Kuballe both went to Vietnam, both came back physically safe, but emotionally scarred in different ways. They both coach football at a Southern private school, and both are attempting to lead "normal lives." Will the specter of war, the Hag of Vietnam, allow them to escape the darkness? Can they ever actually live normal lives? Will PTSD/shell-shock ever let them go?
