One week of mystical experiences, lavish events, and magical phenomenon take place on the secluded land I call home.

Reverie Island hosts the exclusive carnival every year, and every year, my act as magician's assistant claims the title as the best performance.

Guests travel from all over the world to come here, and we give them nothing but the best.

Everything is set and ready to go and I'm ready to step into the spotlight.

That is, until something drastic occurs and I'm forced to switch partners, changing the trajectory of the week and the success of the island's events.

My life on the Island relies on my ability to perform well, and with the brisk turn of events, I have to find a way to stay on the correct path.

Even though my new partner refuses to work with me.

Now, I'm stuck with someone who would rather perform alone, and I find myself lingering in the imbalance of our dynamic.
