I Want Me Back!

I want me back, is the statement I heard the most, during my many years as a life coach, specializing in grief. "All I want is to be normal again. To smile again. I just want to go on again." These are the heartbreaking pleas I heard almost each and every day. "I just want me back!"

I Want Me Back, is the sequel to my last book, Up Grief Creek Without a Paddle, only this time we are not in a canoe. Nope! This time we are hiking the forest of life after loss. And we will travel these woods together. You are not alone. I am a great guide and I will be heading this excursion. You couldn't be in better hands!

My hope is that we come close to finding us again. If nothing else, we will come to truly understand where we have really gone and why we just can't seem to find us! But most of all, we are about to come face to face with ourselves and why we want us back so badly!

Now, pick up your backpacks and follow me! We have a lot of hiking to do and a lot of ground to cover! I sure am glad we have each other! Any task is always best when shared with a friend! You have my solemn word that I will protect you from all harm and danger throughout our entire journey! Oh! And as always, I promise to bring you back safely!
