I, Vampire

Everyone has given at least a fleeting thought to what it might be like to be a vampire, but what would it really entail? The fear of discovery, the need for safe refuge, the need for sufficient sources of blood-and what if one had a conscience? This is the tale of one of Napoleon's former soldiers who now finds himself trying to survive in he modern world while navigating a dangerous romantic attraction that threatens his carefully structured sanctuary. Unlike some vampire stories, this one is tailored for thinking adults and is part historical adventure, part romance, part engaging pulp-fiction with a bit of humor rolled-in while providing plenty of "yes!" moments for those who take nothing at face value.
