I Took Soul to Church Today

The bull on the front cover is not Soul. Soul is my guardian angel. However, this bull plays a major role in changing Soul's life, and mine forever. Because of his poor behavior, and a brutal attack on us he forced Soul and me to grow up at a very young age. We learn from him life does not always stay on course or follow the script we plan for it to follow. Sometimes, we must allow ourselves to search deep into our heart to find what it takes to give forgiveness. Two violent bull-attacks orchestrated by this bull went a long ways in helping me learn; sometimes we must demonstrate our courage, to face life's challenges even, if we are only seven years old. Fortunately, this bull underestimates the power of a mother's love, and courage when one of her babies is in danger. The actions of my mother certainly helped the bull, improve his behavior, and disposition forever. At times, he will make you want to shoot him and other times feel sorry for him. He earned the spot on the front cover by setting an example of how we can recover after experiencing, a life changing disaster. He certainly did along with many of the other characters featured in this book including Soul.I was living a great life including a great job, loving wife, nice home, with two vehicles in the driveway. With two smart, respectful and motivated children whom love life. Then one day for no apparent reason, something happens. It would change the course of my life and the life of my family forever. It was the ultimate test of my faith in God and me. It has been an amazing journey and I am not through yet
