In this book the protagonist through her dairy tries to express her pain as a woman and conveys experience of her journey which she stared at a very young age to know the main reason behind the women's inferior position in this society. The author tries to aggregate all the consequences of modern society and the status of women in society. After reading this book the readers can understand the meaning of the title of this book. Rape is more pathetic both mentally and physically than what we understand as forceful sex. Though the society and administration is efficient enough but sometimes unwilling negligence pave the way to such brutal incidences and brings shame to society.
