Hunting for Treasure in Pareo

Hunting for Treasure in Pareo takes place in a Lord of the Rings / Swords and Sorcery / Dungeons and Dragons type of world. There are Elves, Dwarves, Humans, and Halflings as well as Half-Orcs and Gnomes. Kasten, the fighter-mage has accepted a simple job of delivering a gift to a noble's sister in a far-away city. He has befriended four people he met along the way. However, when the five characters finally reach town, they are off the ship for less than an hour and get attacked - not once, but twice. By accepting this simple errand, the party is now intimately involved in a complicated plot involving rival nobles and their henchmen. Now the five need to locate and piece together any surviving fragments of an old treasure map while fighting off rival treasure hunters - and time is running out.
