How Did It Start?

We all know as Muslims of praying five times a day, of coming to mosques when the call of prayer is announced, of fasting, an Islamic calendar exists, we read the Qur'an, we greet fellow Muslims with 'salaam alaikum.' But exactly how many of us know how all of these started in the first place? There are interesting stories on how they originated, and along with a few other articles, the origins of these events from authentic sources has been compiled. It is hoped that this book will help increase an interest in reading about Islam, thus increasing in ones Islamic Knowledge.
