Hopper Days

This book explores the theme of overcoming jealousy, stressing that admiring others who excel in certain areas is not only acceptable but beneficial. It also underscores the significance of recognizing and celebrating our unique strengths. The story follows the Hoppers, a distinctive group of little grasshoppers, as they gather for their annual race around a giant maze. When Willy Weasel, a newcomer, joins the race without an invitation, the Hoppers initially feel jealous of his speed and outsider status. However, as they witness his kindness and special abilities, they learn to set aside their jealousy and welcome Willy as a new friend.
