The crew of the Armidale class patrol boat, HMAS Hartfield, are needed once again in the pursuit of border protection and justice. Refugees keep inexplicably turning up dead in Australian waters. Puzzle pieces in the case begin to come together and The Hartfield is tasked to track the villain behind the deaths. In the midst of the hazardous chase, Executive Officer Lincoln Hobbs is faced with his own personal tragedy, which pushes him toward the only One able to provide strength in such turbulent circumstances. Concurrently, Marine Biologist Nethania Brideson walks unexpectedly into a volatile situation.
