Hey, anxiety...

Anxiety is frightening and destabilising. There is often a sense of overwhelm and a lack of personal power. But you can achieve feelings of ease and control by creating space and distance between yourself and the symptoms of anxiety.

 

We live in complex and unsettling times. As a result, millions of people are experiencing anxiety due to the unpredictable nature of our lives. Many things we take for granted - and rely upon to thrive, or survive - are disappearing.

 

Turning to yourself in times of distress and mental suffering is a valuable skill. Hey, anxiety... offers an alternative way to approach our anxious feelings, one that explores a relationship with self, and aims to restore harmony by utilising the strengths already within us. By awakening these qualities, and using them to support and regulate ourselves, it is possible to become less dependent on others: building a new foundation that validates truer self-worth.



Written as a series of conversations, the reader is invited to explore one aspect of their anxiety at a time, in their own time, supporting the reality that healing is an intimate and personal journey.
