"Heretics Of Dune" by Frank Herbert is the fifth book in the science fiction universe of Dune. 

The series has gone from Dune to Rakis back to Dune in “Heretics of Dune” to complete a circle - from burning desert to green landscape back to burning desert; another complete circle. 

Now the people of the Scattering are returning. 

Among the Scattering, are women calling themselves the Honoured Matres. The Honoured Matres is an ecstatic and mysterious cult. 

On Rakis, a religious girl named Sheena rises to send a religious fever through the universe. Sheena now is fulfilling an old prophecy of the late God Emperor. 

“Heretics of Dune” is the fifth book in Frank Herbert’s Dune Chronicles which is one of the most significant and popular science fiction series ever written. The series is dated back to 1965 and won both a HUGO-award and a NEBULA-award in 1966 making Frank Herbert world famous.
