Here Comes the Bride

Faith is not by what we say or write, it is by the works we do. I am again learning and relearning that without action behind the Word of God there are no results. Before I am a bride I have to be His bride. Before we sit at His table He prepares it for us. And before a house is a home there is a cornerstone in place. To begin construction this stone has to be placed first so that it ensures the entire house will withstand the turmoil inside and outside.

The fiery darts and spiritual attacks will come but can you get back up? Can you praise Him through it all? Will you choose to see His lily in the valleys? I am not perfect abd have nothing to offer but my praise. I am standing hands raised and a smile on my face knowing that you Jesus, are worth the stillness. You alone make me whole and the closer I am to you, the more I am free.

You built me up as I left trying to find myself and who I wanted to force to be my love. Failing to notice that I tried splitting my rib to fit in a stranger's cage. Making belief where there was none. So, when you say that it is time for us, I will know not just feel, what is safe enough to stay and what is safe enough to be still. All because you were faithful and true to me from the beginning to the end. You are committed and faithful to us all and we are preparing for your return. Jesus, here comes your bride.
