Hall County in World War II

From the Great Depression to the economic boom of the postwar years, Hall County had much in common with the rest of the country during World War II while still experiencing the war in its own way. A devastating tornado, a naval air station, growth in textile and agricultural industries, and changes in how citizens viewed the world meant that Hall County emerged from the war with a unique perspective on the possibilities for its future.
