Guide to Starting a Successful Antiques Business

Over the years in Connecticut, my partner-husband and I went from leasing small spaces in other people's shops to owning our own successful antique center, to operating our own upscale barn shop where celebrities often shopped. We handled estate sales, did furniture repair and refinishing, mirror framing and more. We made our share of mistakes and learned from them but even after almost 30 years our original businesses are still thriving - under new owners. Now semi-retired, I'm ready to share all that we learned along the way to help guide you in the interesting and profitable business of antiques.
