Among the elements that can be highlighted about this work is the depth in which the political, economic and socio-cultural situation of the town of Guasimal is analyzed, as well as other surrounding areas, providing very important data such as its foundation, some of the great original personalities of this area who have excelled in different sectors, the main customs that were developed in other times, the legends transmitted generation after generation, among others. This work is the result of the effort of a young Cuban to spread and make known the identity of Guasimaleña, its legends, stories and traditions that in no other written work related to this land has the quality of this one because of the real details, its chronology, topics, illustrations and revision of original sources.
