Growing up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin David Benson quickly learned that money was power. To get it you had to take risks and endure what came with the lifestyle. Fast money, bad bitches, and respect were the pros but there was also cons. At the age of 17 things take an unexpected turn when he is facing twelve years in jail. His legal woes aren't his biggest problem though because in Milwaukee a hater is born everyday and Dave meets his biggest hater Duke. Surviving the streets and battling the legal system can make any young man grow up quickly. He tries to get out of the life but it's not that easy. He must learn that his life experiences are his stepping stones for growth.
