Green Thumbs

It is the year 2039 and mankind has done it - nature reached the limit. A strange plague has broken out and is driving people into hopelessness. A mysterious green substance broke out. It lives, although it cannot breathe. It speaks, although it cannot talk. And it advances even though it cannot walk. Nature strikes back and chaos breaks out. Living in the midst of green forests, forest ranger Jacob Grogan can't believe what happens. Researching in a secluded hidden facility, microbiologist Alina Bianchi is convinced that Jacob is the missing link of the origin - and therefore the key to the solution. However, there are adversaries. A race is emerging in which the survival of the planet is at stake. And it depends on the struggle between the effects of dangerous mutations, the origin of nature and the human will to survive.
