Greek Coin Studies

A compilation of three illustrated studies by Jasper Burns of ancient Greek coins, published separately as The 'Archaic Smile' and Greek Coins, The Early Coins of Athens, and The Hellenistic Coins of Marathos: A New Chronology. In addition, a substantial excerpt from the book Ancient Animals and Their Coins by the same author is included with a focus on Greek examples. (All of these books are available on Amazon as stand alone titles.) Finally, a brief account of a misunderstood coin of Phokis is presented as an appendix.

Jasper Burns is the author and illustrator of more than 50 books.
