I stood beside her, helping her pour strands of emotion into words, to let her thoughts take flight, to retell the beauty of the Shahnameh in her own voice, and to weave her sentences with care and clarity.

The illustrations and calligraphy of the verses are born from her own genius and creativity, nurtured along the way by patient and insightful teachers who walked this beautiful path with her at the learning center.

How wonderful the destiny of a child whose days are filled with play and movement, and whose world is shaped by stories, colors, and letters, a world built with hope and awareness.

This work is a celebration of the dreams, imagination, and insight of a twelve-year-old Iranian-Canadian girl, who found her heroes not only in ancient tales but within the mirror of her own being.
