Goose Lake Rustlers

Kate Kingshott, was a smart, hard working, fourteen-year old farm girl, when her parents and six siblings were cut down in a hail of bullets. Outlaw, Rance Clayton, and his gang of cut throats, torch the family home. Rustle the family cattle. Kate, injured and scarred, survives the fire. Her lifelong friend, Pakuna, a Klamath Indian girl Kate's age, rescues her. For eight years, Kate lives with the Klamath tribe. She and Pakuna grow from teenagers to young women, preparing to deal with life along the banks of Goose Lake. But the years bring brutal winters and unsavory ranchers willing to kill Kate for her land and cattle. She and Pakuna are forced to bend the rules of her focus restoring the family ranch to its glory days. The two women ride a desperate trail of death and violence scouring the northwest on a relentless trail of vengeance.
