Going Nuclear

Going Nuclear analyzes how history and hindsight influenced the perspectives and positions of Iran, the P5+1 countries, Israel and the Sunni Arab countries during the negotiations that led to a nuclear deal in March 2015. It considers the potential response by Israel and Sunni Arab nations to keep Iran from developing nuclear weapons. It is part history and part psychology, or more specifically the psychology of decision making, with particular focus on hindsight bias. This is a distinct approach to the negotiations from the traditional philosophical and policy views taken by most foreign policy experts. It offers a distinct perspective based on psychological, organizational and behavioral research.
