God's Appointment

God has been appointing leaders and workers in His vineyard for as far back as men can remember; it is not something that you work for, purchase your way to, or devise to achieve, but it is something God bestows easily and freely on those whom He deems fit, and those who are able to undertake the task at hand for a specific period in time.This book looks at how God has appointed different individuals at different periods in time to have undertaken different tasks; it has been plainly presented how He has chosen some individuals that men would not have chosen or recommended. God has used many individuals who were very inexperienced and they have done a marvelous job. This book posits that God doesn't necessarily call, choose and appoint those who are qualified, because none of us is qualified to work for Him, but He qualifies the call because the work is all about Him, and nothing about us.As you peruse the pages of this little friendly book you will become encouraged that God can choose to appoint you any day, because God does not appoint as men do; God looks at your heart, while men look at your qualifications. You will recognize that when God chooses someone He doesn't use him/her as a robot; he/she is free to choose to listen to and follow Him. It is very saddening to know that many of those God had chosen have failed miserably, but there are lots of others who have walked before Him with a perfect heart and brought glory to Him.
