Global Adult Tobacco Survey

This publication summarizes the findings of the Global Adult Tobacco Survey in Thailand. The survey contains information on key indicators of tobacco control in Thailand such as tobacco use, cessation, second-hand smoke, economics of tobacco consumption, media issues focusing on tobacco and knowledge, and attitudes and perceptions related to tobacco use and its harmful effects. It will also assist the country in fulfilling its obligations under the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control and Mpower policy package to generate comparable data within and across countries.
