Integrating the personal with scholarship, In Glimpses of Eternity, Dr. Ra Heter (aka Patrica Dixon) takes you on a journey to consciousness, that begins with her early childhood experiences during the Black Powers and Civil Rights Movements and struggles with Christianity. In a search for who she is and ultimately, who we are, she would stumble into Black Studies. Black studies would lead to Black consciousness that would deepen with observations made during travels to Africa and Europe. Learning about African spirituality and an encounter would lead to a spiritual awakening that compelled her to look beyond the walls of academia in search of what really is true.
