Freshley Made

Dwight Freshley's life is classic, twentieth century Americana at its finest. He grew up on an Ohio farm with more siblings than and three modern families combined. He played in his family band, The Freshley Family Orchestra. He dreamed of playing baseball, went to the Saturday matinee movies, acted in high school plays, went to church and then dreamed some more. He was shipped off to England in WWII, fighting the Nazis, ensuring the future of free society, and enjoying the dances and wartime entertainment. Dwight came home, got his education, wrote songs, had an amazing family, and taught at the collegiate level for decades, winning awards and getting Fulbright scholarship to study in Greece for a year. Always musical, always upbeat, always ready with a joke to lighten the mood of a room, Dwight Freshley has put his 90+ years on Earth to good use.
