Fraudulent Offerings

Fraudulent Offerings was only one of Sara's poems that energetically bound off the page and into real life. As a friend and neighbor, without any prior knowledge (or interest!) in tying flys, Sara's writing has me thoroughly fascinated in the seemingly simple, yet clearly complex, process that she describes page after page. This book is case in point that the smallest things around us can have meaning if you take a moment to slow down and examine the art of creation. I recommend that people read these passages with an open mind and willingness to quiet the self-conceived distractions that swirl around us, and most importantly, "Leave the pretense for an unsuspecting trout".
