Fractured

I thought I would always be alone, only I wasn't. My father's family was waiting in the shadows to rescue me and the guy I'm falling for is determined to save me. If only I was willing to let them all help.My best friend moved away. My mother moved me into the home of one of the wealthiest men in town. And the boy next door who was the most popular and aloof guy in our school turned out to really like me. Since my parents divorce when I was six I'd lived with my mother. She absolutely detested me but what she never knew was that I still spoke to my father. She tried to isolate me and turn me into a shell of who I was supposed to be. Only it never worked. I have less than a year until I turn 18 and can escape my mother's clutches and my mother is starting to feel her control over my life slipping away. Just when I think I'm going to escape her abuse I realize that I'm never going to be allowed to be happy.
