Former Twin Cities socialite Lilly Schmidt struggles to get her grand plan of agritourism up and running in Lone Tree, Minnesota. She seems to constantly hit every bump in the road, including getting mixed up with bitter feuds at the farmer's market and befriending the town's resident pariah. Lilly must also face her own matters of the heart as things start getting weird between her and ex-boyfriend-turned-hired-hand Ryan and catching the eye of the new veterinarian in town. Who also happens to be terribly single.

When a known drug dealer and a son of one of Lone Tree's founding families are found dead during the annual summer festival, Lilly finds herself pulled into figuring out the connection between the two deaths before it's too late...
