Blaine "Four-Claws" Swanson was an adopted Native boy from a reservation near WestPoint, Ca. He was adopted to a family in Modesto, Ca. to help hide the boy from his past until it was time for him to come into his own and lead. Blaine must go through many horrors in life to be ready for his coming role in the tribe. The harrowing journey takes him through the survival of serial killers, Ng and Lake, and the knowledge of the sky people. He is not ready for this.
