Winter has buried Chesterton, Indiana beneath endless snow-and with it, the past Casey thought he'd escaped.

Working quietly at Fortitude Snowplowing, Casey lives behind another name, another man's face, another chance to disappear. The townspeople see only the mechanic who keeps their roads clear. None of them see the workshop beneath the shop... or the art taking shape there.

But hundreds of miles away, two men dig through the ashes of Maggie's Diner and find something that shouldn't exist-proof that Casey's still alive. Their hunt will lead them across the country, straight into the storm Casey has been building.

And when the snow starts falling again, vengeance will follow.

As the plows roll through the night and the lights of Peggy's Diner glow faintly through the blizzard, a new diorama begins to form-one built not from fear, but from fire.

The storm never ends. It only changes its name.
