Beskrivelse
Andrea, or Andy as she prefers to be called, cannot remember much of anything before she was eight years old. What she does remember she tries to forget or else the nightmares come back. It's one of the reasons why she doesn't let people touch her. Now at the age of eighteen, she's frustrated. Her father, the captain of a pirate ship, won't treat her like one of the crew but also doesn't know how to treat her like his daughter. She can't really trust anyone, not even her closest friend, Mark, who has taken an interest in her as more than just friends. Before she can sort through her feelings though, Andrea is kidnapped. She meets James and finds that she reacts differently to him. She starts to trust him but continues to struggle with keeping her memories hidden as he introduces her to his lifestyle. She starts to wonder if maybe her life isn't what she thought it was when suddenly her past is thrust upon her. When she realizes the truth about what happened when she was eight, Andrea has to decide if she will go back to the past she remembers or stay in the present with the life she is living.
