It seems everyone wants the sweet life. Ex-high school basketball star turned pimp/interstate drug trafficker, Bernard "Bubby" Statford manages a next level R&B boy band. By chance he reunites with his childhood friend, Brandon who he learns is a camera man for a local sports network. Bubby recruits him to do some freelance videography for his r&b group. After seeing Brandon's work Bubby's main girl, Martina convinces him to get Brandon to direct a low budget movie for her press kit While working with her Brandon secretly admires her and desires to take her out of the life of prostitution. Brandon wrestles with his feelings knowing that Bubby is watching him close but little does Bubby know that the Feds are watching him even closer. These ambitious characters soon finds out that green is for the money and gold is for the honey but they both belong to Bubby.
