In 1942 Britain was at war. When the RAF needed planes they called upon May, an ATA girl. She ALWAYS got them there. Fly, May FLY! is a book-banded reading book for developing readers, carefully levelled at Green Book Band for guided reading. Beautifully illustrated throughout, this non-fiction title is suitable for struggling teen and adult readers. Fly, May FLY! features a longer, less structured text with a more extended vocabulary. It has more varied and longer sentences, no repetition, and includes made-up words.
