Sixteen-year-old Chloe's life goal is to find her soulmate and live happily ever after, just like her parents. But every time Chloe falls in love, it's not the fairytale she dreams of. Through a series of intimate vignettes, Chloe chronicles making out with tongue, the horror of not knowing how, the clumsiness of discovery and other basic truths about love, including the harsh realities that the person who is most perfect for you will either move to Tokyo or be gay; that your first true love will shatter your dreams, and-surprise, you might even be a little queer, yourself!

Yet through it all, Chloe discovers that life, love and the stars are not necessarily pre-destined and that regardless of the fairytales, imperfections are what make life so interesting.
