Data structures and their use in programming are emphasized. The high level programming language Java used as a tool supports designs and implementations of data structures. This applies data structures and improves programming skills in the high level programming language. High level language use with data structures empowers thinking necessary to think links. This empowerment paradigm uses a data structure model (DSM) to emulate a few constructs from the List Processing (LISP) language. Each data structure in the model uses a sequential order to show the relationships and differences in the data structures.
