Bette Ginsberg practices corporate law all day and volunteers at Legal Aid many evenings. Her best friend is Roseanna Garcia, the family focused Director at Legal Aid. The contrasts between dealing with corporate and disadvantaged clients forces Bette to question what is important in her humorless and lonely lifestyle. At the same time, Jennings Bryan sells software all day and cruises bars all night with his wingman, Mauricio. Successful in sales, he is a train-wreck when it comes to selling himself, as Mauricio always seems to go home with the hot woman. After a disastrous first encounter, fate pushes them to confront truths about themselves, opening the door to finding laughter together.
