Figure Study

Figure Study is raw and unapologetic and doesn't flinch from uncomfortable questions about God, sex, grief, motherhood, the body, and our own impermanence. It examines what it means to be human in these times-and longs for freedom from an earthbound body yet remains grounded and tethered to reality. It's a lyrical confession of what it means to be a mother and a daughter-a body and a soul. This collection praises the world in all its brokenness and can't help but notice the wild grasses/early this year-/the well that never went dry.
