Fibeln Und Gurtelzubehor Der Spaten Romischen Kaiserzeit Aus Augusta Vindelicum/Augsburg

English summary: For the first time ever is the large, manifold collection of late Roman brooches and belt fittings from the late third until the first half of the fifth century AD from the provincial capital Augusta Vindelicum/Augsburg documented and typologically analysed. The find contexts and the spatial distribution in the urban area was also assessed. The so called crossbow brooches and the different belt fittings were mainly used by civil servants and soldiers of the late Roman army. The finds are a significant reference group for the Roman Alpine and Danube provinces and prove the presence of Roman administration and military in Augsburg up to the second quarter or the mid fifth century AD. German description: Erstmals wird der umfangreiche, vielfaltige Bestand an spatromischen Fibeln und Gurtelzubehor aus dem spaten 3. bis in die erste Halfte des 5. Jahrhunderts n. Chr. aus Augusta Vindelicum/Augsburg, der Hauptstadt der Provinz Raetia secunda, dokumentiert und einer antiquarisch-chronologischen Analyse unterzogen; untersucht werden auch die Kontexte und die Verbreitung im Stadtgebiet. Die Trager der sogenannten Zwiebelknopffibeln und der verschiedensten Gurtelbestandteile waren vorwiegend Beamte und Soldaten des spatromischen Heeres. Die Funde bilden eine aussagekraftige Referenzgruppe fur die Alpen- und Donauprovinzen, zudem liefern sie wichtige Hinweise fur die Prasenz der romischen Verwaltung und des Militars in Augsburg bis ins zweite Viertel oder sogar bis gegen Mitte des 5. Jahrhunderts n. Chr.
