Fear the Lord

The fear of the Lord is one of the most important concepts in the Bible. It is called "God's treasure." The fear of the Lord is the foundation of many of the systems apart of God's kingdom. Many explain it as reverence and honor to God, but this is far from what the scriptures reveal. Surprisingly, only a small portion of the fear of the Lord has to do with God. Moses was required to teach the nation of Israel the fear of the Lord. Godly fear was the dominant mindset in the life of King David. Our holiness is matured in the fear of the Lord. Our service to God must be done in the fear of the Lord. Submission in marriage is to be done in the fear of the Lord. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge and wisdom. There are many kingdom systems, principles, and concepts that are built on the fear of the Lord. It is the starting point.
