Prior to World War II in Europe, several nations conducted research on nuclear fission. Many scientists sought civil uses while governments sought an atomic bomb, a game changer in warfare. Germany was one such nation. A hand full of scientists held the key to such achievements. Finding them, extracting them, and securing their cooperation could prove a challenge. This was Major Mike Roth's task, a Marine Corps officer and an agent of the Office of Naval Intelligence.
