Fanged Fish

The Thrain have conquered, though at a price. Their sorcerer lord is missing, leaving the army vulnerable while rebellion seethes in the streets. Kai has taken the Left-Footed Trail and vanished. While he lives the Ashir will never believe they are beaten. To complete their victory, the Thrain need to kill him, the living symbol of the god. But Kai too faces problems. How much should the Ashir change, now they know the world is not what they once believed? To change might be to lose the blessing of the Teacher God forever. And beyond that there is the sorcerer, hooded and grim. If the Blessed Land is to survive, a way must be found to confront his annihilating magic and come out alive.
