Minneapolis prosecutor, Zehra Henning, gets a new murder case with strange aspects to it that she's never encountered before. While preparing for trial, Zehra discovers the defendant is part of an international terrorist group. She faces political pressure to get a fast conviction, demands by local protest groups for justice, and the possibility of a nuclear nightmare if she doesn't succeed. The action moves from gangsters in Mexico to Canadian boundary waters and into Minnesota. Zehra struggles to solve the mystery while she becomes the target of the terrorists. Now, Zehra must fight for her life.
