Few know the glory of alfa romeo in formula 1. Although nowadays it is a team used to fighting for the middle or lower positions, there was a time when the italian constructor came to dominate formula 1.

After some successful years prior to alfa romeo's world championship in association with enzo ferrari, the italian team led the origin of formula 1 through its alfetta, counting on legends such as nino farina or juan manuel fangio who turned alfa romeo into one of the most powerful teams in the early years of the competition.
