Ethnic Groups and U.S. Foreign Policy

This volume examines the dynamics of ethnic groups' attempts to influence U.S. foreign policy toward their native countries. A collection of essays by noted political scientists, the book compares and contrasts the political activities of seven ethnic groups with varying degrees of participation, influence, and success: Arab-Americans, Jewish-Americans, African-Americans, Polish-Americans, Mexican-Americans, Cuban-Americans, and Irish-Americans.
